How to download movies using torrents

Go to the link http://www.utorrent.com/downloads and download µTorrent based on your platform. Run the µTorrent.exe by keeping the default settings and by clicking ‘Next’. The application launches as shown below once the setup is completed.

Before jumping into how to download movies, let’s get a little knowledge on different prints of the movies. The different formats of pirated movies that are available in the internet in the order of their release are CAMrip, CAM, DVDSCR, DivX/XviD, DVDRIp, BluerayRip (BRRip), Blueray. A cam is a theater rip usually done with a digital video camera. So, there is high possibility that the camera may shake. Sound is taken from the onboard microphone of the camera, and especially in comedies, laughter can often be heard during the film. Due to these factors picture and sound quality are usually quite poor for CAMRip and CAM. The quality increases from one format to the next format i.e from CAMrip to CAM so on and so forth. So, it is better to download DVDSCR or higher formats.
Where and How to download the torrent files
The best website I have come across where we can find torrent files is http://www.kat.ph/. It has torrents of movies, music, TV shows, games, applications and books. The best thing about kat.ph is you can see the comments by people for all the torrent files. Comments will be on audio quality, print, if audio is in sync with video or not, if the torrent file needs password in order to run, and if the torrent is working or not. We can decide whether to download the torrent file or not by going through the comments. You can also see the age of the torrent files. Higher the age of the torrent file, higher is the movie quality.
I will now explain you with an example. Let’s say I want to download the movie “Dabangg”.
Type “Dabangg” in the searchbox as shown below
We now get list of torrents for ‘Dabangg’ as shown below. Choose the torrent you want to download depending on the format (DVDRip, BlueRay, BRRip etc.), size, comments, seeds etc. The higher is the number of seeds available, the higher is the download speed. We can also get torrent files which has English subtitles. If the name of the torrent file has “E-SuB” in it, it means there are English subtitles for the movie.
If you take “Dabangg 2010 Hindi DVDRip XviD E-SuB xRG” as the torrent file name, DVDRip is the format, XviD is the encoder userd to stream the videos, E-SuB means English subtitles are also present.

Select any torrent file and click on ‘Download torrent’ to save it. Double-click the saved file and browse to the location where you want to save the movie. Now, the downloading starts and you can see its progress by selecting the ‘Torrents’ tab.

Youth for Seva :: Young volunteers for service

This is the NGO that I volunteer for - Youth For Seva (YFS). Writing a blog on it so as to spread its word to the readers. Its been a wonderful experience so far - teaching maths at government school, audio recording 'Teacher Eligibility Test' books for the blind, raising funds for school kit drive and spectacle drive, school kit distribution, dental and eye screening camps in schools, sapling plantation, starting green clubs etc. I have met some wonderful people in YFS who invested their valuable time for community development. You will be impressed by their enthusiasm and dedication for commuity development.

Here goes a short overview on YFS and its activities.

There are lots of youngsters who want to volunteer for NGOs and who want to invest their weekend free time in community development. But, many of them don’t know where to start. Youth for Seva (YFS) is one such NGO started in 2007 to fill that gap. It inspires the youth, provides them training and involves them in various projects. YFS advisory board has many prominent people ranging from CEO of Software Company to chairmen’s and HODs of colleges. YFS is now spread in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Bhopal, Mysore, and Belgaum. The two main focus areas of YFS are Education and health.

Education

YFS volunteers help children by teaching them Maths, science, spoken English, computer skills at government schools, orphanage homes.  They take classes on weekly basis or daily basis. CFA - Path to a bright finance career

The craze for IIMs is mainly due to the huge salaries they offer. In order to get a clear picture about the packages and stuff, I enquired with couple of my friends who graduated from IIMs. They said that only        5-10% of students actually end up with good salaries.
The students who end up with handsome salaries have very good profiles like..
i) They are among the top bunch of the class
ii) They are active in the clubs and activities of college. Organising fests, participating and winning in B-School events and competetions, being a placecomm member etc
ii) Have a very good past work experience. Say managed a consultancy or started own firm or business
iv) Cleared global financial certifications like CFA, FRM etc

A person who cleared all the three levels of CFA and has done MBA from top B-School would get job profiles like Equity Research, Investment Banks, Portfolio Mgmt.
Overview of CFA:The CFA Program includes a series of three exams that are offered in test centers around the world. These three exams — Level I, Level II, and Level III  must be passed sequentially for earning a CFA charter.

The Level II exam is composed of item set questions and is offered in June only.
The Level III exam consists of item set and essay questions and is offered in June only.

Generally Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi are centres in India for CFA exams. Passport is compulsory for enrollment and registration for the exam. The approximate fees for enrolment for Level 1 exam is 50000Rs.
